Workshop Repair
Our staff consist of a number of qualified Electrical Fitter/Mechanics and a dedicated in-house Electrical Engineer experienced in both workshop and customer site service. Our workshop is fitted with specialised industrial battery charger testing equipment to ensure your unit is fully functional before returning it to service. We carry a stock of Exide and Stanbury parts which allows us to offer a very quick turn around on repairs. We will have your unit back within service quickly, so as to limit operational downtime.

Stanbury Scarf & Lord Charger Sales
We have been operating as the Stanbury Scarf & Lord Queensland agent for over 30 years and sell the full range of Stanbury Chargers.
Our clients use these chargers in a number of different applications. Whether in a traction, solar, or generator configuration we can offer our expertise in helping you specify the correct unit.
Loan Chargers
We understand the importance of having your electric fork trucks and off-grid power systems in continual operation. We have a large stock of loan chargers which we can bring to your site to cover you for those times when repairs can not be effected immediately.
Our loan range covers 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V single and three phase chargers with a current output in the range of 5A to over 170A DC.
Loan Charger Policy
For clients without an existing account with MET Services, a security deposit will be required when a loan unit is supplied. This deposit will be refunded upon return of the unit. If you wish to proceed with the repair of your unit, there is no fee for this loan service.
Thermographic Imaging
We are able to offer Infrared Thermal Imaging Services, reporting, and Rectification works. This is carried out by our highly skilled team, which have undertaken comprehensive training and are able to provide an excellent level of service. We can offer the Professional Advantage as all of our Thermographers are fully qualified Electricians, that can assess and make safe on the spot if the need arises.
What is Thermographic Imaging?
Thermographic Imaging (or Thermal Imaging) is the process whereby, Infrared technology allows us to see invisible thermal signs of impending damage, well before the damage occurs. Where electrical energy is produced by the flow of current through an electrical circuit, part of this energy is converted to heat energy. In most circumstances this is normal, however, if abnormally high levels of heat are produced, this is generally an indication that there is an electrical fault or issue and has the potential for costly damage.
What are the benefits of Thermal Imaging?
The process of Thermal Imaging is one of the safest and fastest ways of early detection of issues and faults on electrical, mechanical, and processing equipment.
This, in turn, potentially can save you money by locating potential failures and extending the life of your valuable equipment. In some cases, this may be a requirement for Insurance purposes.
